Acceptable Use Policy

Guidelines for professional use of NuLink's unified communication platform

Effective Date: January 1, 2025

This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") governs your use of the NuLink unified communication platform and related services. This Policy is incorporated into and is subject to our Terms of Service.

1. Prohibited Activities

You may NOT use NuLink services for any of the following activities:

Illegal Activities

  • Any activity that violates Wyoming, federal, or applicable international laws
  • Fraud, identity theft, or financial crimes
  • Distribution of illegal content or materials
  • Violation of export control or sanctions regulations

Spam & Abuse

  • Sending spam or unsolicited bulk communications
  • Phishing attempts or social engineering attacks
  • Harassment, threats, or abusive behavior
  • Impersonation or misrepresentation of identity

Technical Abuse

  • Distribution of malware, viruses, or harmful code
  • Network attacks, DDoS attempts, or system intrusions
  • Attempts to bypass security measures or access controls
  • Cryptocurrency mining or similar resource-intensive activities

Intellectual Property Violations

  • Copyright infringement
  • Trademark violations
  • Unauthorized use of proprietary information
  • Reverse engineering or decompiling our software

2. Communication Standards

When using NuLink's unified communication platform, you must:

  • Use the platform for professional business communications only
  • Provide accurate sender identification in all messages
  • Honor opt-out and unsubscribe requests promptly
  • Comply with CAN-SPAM Act and TCPA regulations
  • Obtain necessary consents before recording communications
  • Maintain data privacy and confidentiality standards
  • Include accurate contact information in commercial messages
  • Respect do-not-call and do-not-contact lists

3. Platform Limits

Storage Limits

  • File Attachments: 25MB maximum per file
  • Total Storage: Based on subscription plan tier
  • Message History: 90 days (Starter), 1 year (Professional), Unlimited (Enterprise)

4. Enforcement

We take violations of this Acceptable Use Policy seriously. Violations may result in:

First Violation

Written warning via email with details of the violation and required corrective action

Second Violation

Temporary suspension of account access for 24-72 hours

Severe or Repeated Violations

Immediate account termination with no refund of subscription fees

Illegal Activity

Immediate termination and referral to appropriate law enforcement authorities

5. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violations of this Acceptable Use Policy, please report them immediately:

  • Nature of the violation
  • Date and time of occurrence
  • Account information (if known)
  • Screenshots or message logs (if available)
  • Any other relevant information

6. Compliance Requirements

Users must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to:

CAN-SPAM Act

Regulations for commercial email messages

TCPA

Telephone Consumer Protection Act for calls and texts

GDPR

EU data protection and privacy regulations

CCPA

California Consumer Privacy Act requirements

7. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the platform. Continued use of our services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
